LG is continuously teasing the general consumers on what they can expect from the V10 successor when it officially launches this September in San Francisco. As previously reported, the V20 is set to come with the industry’s first Quad DAC, making it a device that’s superior than all other handsets in terms of audio production and quality. Interestingly, the South Korea tech company has revealed more details about the V20 to further intensify the hype over the smartphone that is banking more on the audio experience it provides.

On Wednesday, LG disclosed that it has worked closely with B&O Play — a member of the Danish consumer electronics company Bang & Olufsen that focuses on producing stand-alone audio products — in ensuring that the total audio experience the smartphone provides is optimized. So to complement the handset's Quad DAC, LG is including a special pair of B&O Play earphones in the product's bundle. On top of this, the device is also going to arrive with a set of wallpapers made exclusively by B&O Play, GSM Arena has learned.

The B&O Play earphones are expected to take advantage of the 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC that is designed to cut ambient noise by 50 percent to ensure that the sound being produced via earphones or headphones is clear and crisp. Unfortunately, LG has yet to showcase the appearance of the earphones that is expected to supplement the premium audio produced by the industry's first mobile DAC technology.

When it comes to the other specs and features of the device, LG has secured that its upcoming smartphone is going to be a notable competitor to Samsung’s well-received Galaxy Note 7. The V20 is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch display with 1440 x 2560 screen resolution and a small secondary display situated atop the primary display panel. According to Phone Arena, consumers can expect a Snapdragon 820 chip with a Quad-Core 2.2GHz CPU under the hood, along with an Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal memory and a microSD slot that’s capable of accommodating 256GB of expanded memory.

In terms of camera technology, the LG V20 is expected to arrive with a 21-megapixel dual-camera system that as per leaked renders would account for a significant bump at the back of the device. Up front, the phone is also rumored to sport a high-quality 8-megapixel selfie camera. In addition, the multimedia beast is reportedly housing a 4,000mAh battery, so that it can stay awake for long hours on a single charge. Finally, LG is also marketing the device as the first smartphone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

Meanwhile, the latest leaked renders of the LG V20 obtained by TechnoBuffalo seem to confirm the rumored hardware specifications of the device. The renders reportedly came from a smartphone case maker who has already produced clear plastic protectors for the phone ahead of its launch. The renders show that the device is indeed going to sport a dual-camera system and a laser auto focus module. Underneath the complex camera system is a circular cutout for the fingerprint scanner. In addition, the front display of the device resembles that of last year’s V10.
