Lindsie Chrisley said she was shocked after someone told her about her dad Todd Chrisley's message for her following her divorce announcement.

On Thursday's episode of Lindsie's "Coffee Convos" podcast, she opened up about her father's loving message for her after she announced that she and her husband of nine years, Will Campbell, were separating. Apparently, she didn't see Todd's post because he blocked her on Instagram, so there was "no way for me to see that."

"We all know that social media is so scary and it can make hard situations in life so much harder, Along with processing sharing something that is so personal with the world, it was brought to my attention that there was a post made by my dad on Instagram," she was quoted by People, as saying.

She explained that she had mixed feelings about it because part of her growth process was to process her feelings before she would even speak about them. Also, "disengagement" was part of her homework and therapy, so she was surprised to learn about her dad's message.

"I truly was shocked when I saw something so personal shared as we do have each other's numbers," she said.

A day after Lindsie's divorce announcement, Todd shared a message on Instagram addressed to "you know who you are."

"I’m here. I love you. Whatever is going on in your life right now, I see it, and I’m working all things out for good, for you, my child," Todd wrote. "There is nothing you can do or have done that will make me ever love you less. I will protect you from anything, and anyone who tries’s to harm you or your reputation."

In the message, Todd spoke about being stronger than depression and anxiety and being braver than loneliness. He also promised that he will never leave or forsake his child and encouraged the latter to look for favor and blessings moving forward.

Todd also addressed Lindsie and Campbell's split on his “Chrisley Confessions” podcast and wished his daughter "the best."

"I do not wish a divorce on any family, certainly not after going through one and watching what it did to Lindsie and Kyle. I certainly was not hoping to see that pattern repeated," Todd said.

"Will Campbell has always been a good provider to my daughter and to my grandson. He and his family have always been very supportive of Lindsie and Jackson to the best of my knowledge, which is very limited."

Lindsie and Todd have not been on speaking terms since 2017. They have been estranged after her brother Kyle accused her and their biological mom, Teresa Terry, of turning Todd and his wife, Julie, to the authorities for alleged tax evasion, which Lindsie's lawyer denied, according to People.

Lindsie leveled her own charges against her dad and accused him and her other brother, Chase, of blackmailing her over an alleged sex tape that her brother claimed to have purchased.

Lindsie said her attorney already contacted Todd's lawyer, so she has "reached out privately and I feel certain that our legal teams will be in communication with each other over the coming weeks."
