The controversial LIV Golf Invitational Series continues next week with its third event of 2022. With more high-profile players joining the PGA Tour’s new rival, some of the world’s best golfers are set to be part of the upcoming field.

The 48 players who will compete in the July 29-31 LIV Golf Invitational Bedminster have been announced. The tournament will take place at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Henrik Stenson, Charles Howell III and Jason Kokrak will make their LIV Golf debuts at the upcoming event. Stenson’s decision to join LIV Golf is among the most shocking since the tour began. He was stripped of his European Ryder Cup captaincy for doing so.

Kokrak adds another top-50 player to the LIV Golf field. The 37-year-old is No. 36 in the latest world golf rankings.

Paul Casey will also play for LIV Golf for the first time next week. Casey is the No. 32 ranked player in the world.

Dustin Johnson is No. 16 in the world and, once again, the highest-ranked player in the LIV field. Johnson tied for third place at LIV Golf Portland earlier this month.

Branden Grace won the last event and will be part of the field at LIV Golf Bedminster. Charl Schwartzel, who won the first-ever LIV Golf tournament in London and $4.75 million in total prize money, is also playing in the upcoming tournament.

Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia and Talor Gooch will be competing with LIV Golf for the third time. Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are set to play in their second LIV Golf tournament.

Despite reports that Australian Cameron Smith could be headed to LIV Golf, the 2022 British Open champion won’t play at LIV Golf Bedminster.
