Liverpool’s latest youth addition is expected to score a lot of goals for the club.

Bobby Clark has joined Liverpool Academy from Newcastle United, the club announced Thursday.

The 16-year-old is now set to become part of the Reds famed youth set-up after completing his switch from the Magpies.

Clark’s official move to Anfield didn’t come as a surprise, having arrived in Merseyside earlier this summer.

The teenage prodigy was already registered as a Liverpool player but was prohibited from training alongside Liverpool’s youth teams until the switch was finalized, Liverpool Offside reported.

The report said that Clark will initially join Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s Under-18s squad where he will join by Reds youngsters hoping for a first-team call-up.

"Over the moon to have signed with this great club [Liverpool]," Clark wrote on Instagram. "Looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together!"

Prior to Clark’s switch to Liverpool, a wide array of English Premier League clubs were already keeping an eye on his progress, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham.

At Newcastle, Clark was being talked up as the club’s “best prospect” and is now described as “another highly promising prospect” addition to Liverpool’s youth ranks, the report added.

What’s even more interesting, Clark, the son of former Newcastle crowd-favorite Lee, was introduced in his BBC video last year as a “Number 10” and a player “who comes with plenty of goals, pace, and flair.”

Though Liverpool’s move for Clark suggests the club is honing another attacking sensation, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp looked content with his powerhouse four-men attack composed of Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

According to Klopp, he doesn’t see the need to bring in additional talent “unless something happens.”

“You have to make changes from time to time, but then there must be room to do it. We do not want more players. Unless something happens it makes no sense to add more players,” Klopp explained. “Everyone expects some player signings, (but) let’s go through the squad. Do you want to buy a new fullback? A new goalkeeper? We already have good players there."

"In midfield, we have players with a lot of experience, we have exciting young boys in Harvey Elliott and Curtis Jones,” he added. “In attack, [Sadio] Mané, [Roberto] Firmino, [Mohamed] Salah, [Diogo] Jota, [Xherdan] Shaqiri, [Takumi] Minamino and [Divock] Origi. If you want to buy such players, you have to spend a lot of money. We do not have to do that, because the players are already here.”
