  • Logan Paul reveals that his "three-day transformation" was a nod to One Punch Man
  • Paul was one of the standout performers at WrestleMania 38
  • He also hints that a match with The Miz could happen at next year's WrestleMania

WrestleMania 38 is arguably one of the best events WWE has put on in recent years, and the involvement of Logan Paul in the proceedings was a surprisingly solid one.

Before his tag team match with The Miz against the father-son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio, Paul shared his amazing three-day transformation in preparation for the big match.

However, the social media star would appear as a guest on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and disclosed that it took longer than three days for him to reach that point of physical fitness.

“That [three-day transformation tweet] was a joke. That was a month,” Paul laughingly told Helwani.

When prompted by the mixed martial arts (MMA) personality further about whether the regiment was for real over the course of a month, Paul denied it and said that it was a nod to the popular anime character One Punch Man.

“He’s (One Punch Man) like the strongest anime character ever and everyone’s like ‘how do you do it, what’s your training regimen?’ and all he does is a hundred push-ups and a hundred sit-ups every day and runs like ten miles,” Paul iterated.

Helwani added that he was tipped off by his personnel that the training regimen was a nod to the anime protagonist which pushed him to ask the Ohio native about it.

In the eyes of many observers, Paul was one of the best celebrity guests that the top-tier pro-wrestling organization has ever had because of his work as a heel against the ever-popular babyfaces in the Mysterios.

Paul even did a mocking tribute to WWE icon and Rey Mysterio’s longtime friend, Eddie Guerrero, to crank up the heel meter up to 11.

From Guerrero’s signature triple suplex to his frog splash finisher plus the shoulder shimmy, Paul drew the ire of the WrestleMania crowd and fans watching at home.

The Miz would go on to turn on Paul after winning the match, delivering a Skull-Crushing Finale to the 27-year-old, hinting at a match between the two down the road.

Paul would later mention during the podcast that he would not mind having more matches in WWE sometime soon, even hinting that his match with The Miz could happen at WrestleMania 39 which will take place in Los Angeles, California at this point next year.
