KEY POINTS

  • Bronny James only played 13 minutes and only took two shots, missing both
  • The game was immediately stopped so they can throw the fan out of the court
  • Sierra Canyon lost to the Paul VI Catholic High School, 70-62

LeBron James was in attendance watching his son Bronny shooting the lights out for Sierra Canyon School but he did not expect a spectator to do some target shooting with his oldest son as the target.

Videos have surfaced that the younger James was thrown with an object while he was about to play the ball inbounds in the third quarter when someone behind him hit his back, which was caught right away by the referees.

Security was called right away to get rid of the disrespectful spectator and toss him out of the court. Based on the replays, the culprit appears to be a kid who’s sitting just a few rows from the sidelines. It is not a sight that the Los Angeles Lakers star wished to see on his son’s game.

“You’d be surprised by all the stuff Bronny has to go through,” Bronny’s teammate Zaire Williams said per Yahoo! Reports. “It’s not fair, but he doesn’t let it faze him at all. I’m learning how to be more like that from him and he’s younger than me.” LeBron was just shaking his head while watching his eldest from half-court away and later on posted the incident on his social media.

Bronny has been getting a lot of attention not just because of his namesake but because of the expectations that he’ll be as great as his father. LeBron has been a very supportive father to his sons, learning from experience where he didn’t have his own dad by his side growing up.

Sierra Canyon eventually lost the game to Paul VI Catholic High School, 70-62, that was witnessed by over 4,000 people in attendance. Trevor Keels had 24 points and five boards for Paul VI while Duke-commit Jeremy Roach had 16 points and seven dimes. Bronny only took two shots in 13 minutes of action, missing both of them before LeBron rushed to his own game against the Boston Celtics at home.
