  • Tacko Fall said that he is a fan of John Cena, Big Show, and The Undertaker
  • WWE stars posed for some photos with the 7-foot-5 Boston Celtics rookie
  • Cena met Tacko backstage after the announcement that he will be facing β€œThe Fiend” at Wrestlemania 36

This could be one of those days where all the John Cena jokes become a reality but he’s on the other side of it.

WWE Smackdown went on tour and this time, they had their last Friday’s episode in Boston and in a video posted by the show, Cena had an encounter with the Boston Celtics rookie Tacko Fall. As the tallest player in the NBA right now, the height difference is in full display.

“Thank you for lending us your place for a night,” said Cena, who is from West Newbury, MA which is just around 45-minute drive away from Boston. The two shook hands after the 24-year old center said that he was a fan.

The show in Boston was the first time that the Senegal-born Fall’s first time to watch a WWE event live and is very vocal about being a fan of the 16-time world champion and is even excited to have a photo taken with so he can show it to his grandma.

He also made friends with some other WWE stars and it is safe to say that he towered over everybody. Some who took photos with him include Big E and Kofi Kingston of The New Day, and Cena himself.

Fall, standing at 7-foot-5 without shoes, as jokes say, can’t see John Cena, at least on an eye-to-eye level. Cena is a buff 6-foot 1 himself and just made his appearance on SmackDown to announce his part in the upcoming Wrestlemania 36.

“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt appeared behind Cena and pointed to the Wrestlemania banner, indicating that he wants a match with the 42-year old Cena. It was later announced that the two are indeed booked to face-off against each other on April 5 as Wrestlemania 36 goes to Tampa, FL. The match would be a rematch as the two already fought against each other in Wrestlemania XXX in New Orleans where Cena won the match.

And of course, that Friday encounter did not escape social media.
