  • “Love Island” fans believe he may have been fired due to his past work as a gay porn actor

“Love Island” Season 2 former contestant Noah Purvis has posted a cryptic message about equality on Instagram amid rumors that he was fired over his alleged gay porn work.

On Wednesday, Sept. 23, Noah took to Instagram to thank fans for all the love and support, writing: “OHANA means family... FAMILY means no one gets left behind or forgotten. All of you out here have made me feel this and I can't express how loved I feel for the first time in my life.”

The 24-year-old Missouri resident appeared to reveal more of his thoughts about his “Love Island” firing in the hashtags he used, which included “sadness,” “equality,” “voice,” “corruption,” “bullied” and “speakup.”

Noah, a health care worker and bodybuilder, was removed from “Love Island” less than a week after he made his first appearance on the Sept. 17 episode of the U.S. version of the British reality show.

Shortly after his debut, a number of “Love Island” fans noticed Noah’s resemblance to a gay porn star named Ethan. Taking to Twitter, netizens shared pictures that appeared to show Noah in videos released by gay adult film studio Corbin Fisher.

Screen Rant noted that Ethan's last video for the studio was released just a week before Noah made his debut on “Love Island” Season 2.

Noah's absence from the latest “Love Island” Season 2 installment was not mentioned or discussed by islanders during the episode, but CBS and ITV America later confirmed that he has been removed from the show.

“It has been brought to our attention that cast member Noah Purvis provided false information on his application to 'Love Island,' which violates his contestant agreement,” the statement obtained by Entertainment Tonight read.

They did not elaborate on the “false information” Noah allegedly gave. His biography has since been removed from the show’s website.

Meanwhile, some viewers are not happy that Noah was booted from the CBS dating competition show for his alleged career as a gay porn star.

“If the show kicked Noah out because of his porn past then Imma be pissed. Even though I don't know him and don't really care about him. Sex work is still work. #LoveIslandUSA #LoveIsland,” one fan wrote.

Another echoed similar sentiments, writing: “How’s Noah’s gay porn REALLY ANY DIFFERENT from some of these girls instas?? Sensing some homophobia #LoveIslandUSA #LoveIsland.”

Noah was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. “My dreams are to become an actor, to entertain and to help as many people as possible,” he said in a video on his YouTube channel.
