Maddie Ziegler is continuing her Hollywood takeover. The “Dance Moms” star was recently spotted in New York City filming a scene from the upcoming Colin Trevorrow drama “The Book of Henry.”

The Daily Mail obtained photos of Maddie, 13, shooting an outdoor scene for the mysterious 2016 film Wednesday. Images from the set show the young performer dressed in casual attire and holding a snow globe. Other images show Maddie getting up close and personal with her co-star, two-time Oscar nominee Naomi Watts. In several images Watts, 47, can be seen playing with Maddie’s hair and face.

EW reports that Watts will play Susan Carpenter, a single mother to two young boys. It’s unknown what role Maddie will be playing and how her character will relate to Watts' character.

Trevorrow announced that Maddie had landed a role in the film on Twitter Monday. His post was accompanied by a shot of the actress posing with her two young co-stars, Jacob Tremblay ("Room") and Jaeden Lieberher ("St. Vincent").

Maddie’s part in “The Book of Henry” comes after four years of starring Lifetime’s hit reality series “Dance Moms.” She recently started filming Season 6 in Los Angeles with her longtime coach, Abby Lee Miller. Maddie is also well known for her featured roles in pop singer Sia’s award-winning music videos, most notably 2014’s “Chandelier.”

“The Book of Henry” is expected to debut in 2016. Lifetime has not released a premiere date for “Dance Moms" Season 6.
