  • Madison LeCroy said she "had nothing to do with" the reason Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez split in April
  • The Bravo star would be willing to share more details if she returns for the next season of "Southern Charm"
  • LeCroy said she was not "bothered" by rumors linking her to their split because she believes she is "innocent"

Madison LeCroy insisted that she had nothing to do with Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez's split.

The "Southern Charm" star was linked to the former baseball player while he was still engaged to Lopez, prompting rumors that she was the third party in their breakup. When asked about Lopez rekindling her romance with Ben Affleck in a new interview, LeCroy joked that she contributed to it.

"I say you’re welcome," the 30-year-old reality star told Us Weekly with a laugh.

LeCroy went on to explain, "I mean, I will be honest with you. I had nothing to do with why they split, and I think everybody knows that. And if you don’t know that, then that’s just ridiculous, like, let’s be honest."

When asked if she would be sharing more details about the situation in the future, LeCroy said Bravo cameras could capture the scoop if she returns for "Southern Charm" Season 8.

"I’m happy to tell my story," she added. "If I’m asked the questions, yes, I will tell the truth. I will say this – the reason why I’m not bothered is because I’m innocent in that sense."

LeCroy was dragged into Lopez and Rodriguez's drama earlier this year when, during the "Southern Charm" Season 7 reunion, she was accused by co-star Craig Conover of having an affair with "an ex-MLB player" during her relationship with Austen Kroll.

While the name was bleeped on the reunion, LeCroy later confirmed during an interview with Page Six that her co-stars were referring to Rodriguez. The Bravo star claimed that she and Rodriguez only talked over the phone and had never met in person. She added that they have "never been physical… never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance."

"He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me," she stressed.

At the time, unnamed sources close to the former MLB star told the New York Post that he and LeCroy had never met.

In March, Page Six reported that Lopez and Rodriguez had split, which one unnamed insider blamed on his rumored affair with LeCroy. "The Madison LeCroy scandal was the reason they finally broke up. There were already problems, but Jennifer was really embarrassed by it," the source told the outlet.

The two fired back at the breakup rumors at the time but announced in April that they had called off their two-year engagement. Shortly after their split, Lopez reconnected with Affleck, to whom she'd been engaged between 2002 and 2004.

Affleck and Lopez appeared to have decided to give their romance another shot. The pair were seen kissing when they celebrated the 50th birthday of Lopez’s sister, Lynda, Sunday with her family at Nobu in Malibu, California.
