June “Mama June” Shannon has set the record straight on her current dating status by addressing the rumors that she’s dating a much younger man.

The 42-year-old reality star confirmed on social media Friday that she’s not romantically involved with TikTok star Jordan McCollum, who is 18 years younger than her.

When McCollum uploaded a video on his account to give fans an update on his sobriety, Mama June grabbed the chance to voice her support to the 24-year-old influencer in the comments section.

“Love this. Yes, people on TiickTock [sic] don’t know who the real Jordan is outside of social media,” she wrote, adding, “Jordan’s sober, Jordan’s happy, Jordan’s goofy.”

In a follow-up, the “Mama June: From Not to Hot” star made it clear that she and McCollum are just friends.

“And I’m very proud to call Jordan my best friend. Nothing more, nothing less. I’m proud of him,” she added.

Mama June and McCollum recently made headlines after fans claimed that they seemed to be dating based on their interactions on social media.

Some fans had speculated that it was Mama June who bought McCollum his new car after the reality star commented on his Instagram post showing off his new ride saying he deserved it. Prior to that, McCollum admitted that “someone” had bought the vehicle for him.

Some fans also disclosed online that they saw Mama June when she moved to Florence, Alabama, recently. Florence is where McCollum is currently residing, according to his TikTok bio.

It’s also worth noting that Mama June has said in one of her TikTok posts from last month that the single dad was “such an inspiration” to her.

McCollum has a daughter from a previous relationship, and he’s been documenting their bonding moments, as well as his struggles with drug addiction and his faith, on TikTok, where he has amassed over 1.1 million followers and 13.3 million likes.

Meanwhile, Mama June’s statement comes two days after she seemingly threw some shade at her ex-boyfriend Geno Doak, 45, on the same social media platform.

At the time, she shared an audio clip of McCollum addressing women who have gone through difficulties because of their partners.

“What is he doing for you? I mean, honestly, why are you bowing down to a man [who] is not willing to show you the true worth that you’re worth having?” McCollum was heard saying in the clip.

Mama June then conveyed her agreement to McCollum’s message by writing in a text overlay that what the latter said was “straight facts” because it happened to her “so many times over and over again.”

The We TV star concluded her post by stating in the caption that she’s loving her life at the moment because she’s taking time to love herself “knowing I’m worth it” and that she’ll be ready when that “perfect forever after” comes along.
