A man has been arrested after allegedly going on a deadly crime spree across north Broward County, Florida, and killing an infant and a babysitter Friday.

The suspect, identified by neighbors as Dale Daniel Spidle, was given no bond on a charge of premeditated murder when he faced a judge Saturday, CBS Miami reported. His age was not mentioned in the report.

Spidle appeared in Broward bond court wearing a large cast. He complained that his arm was broken in three places, according to the report.

Spidle participated in three separate crime scenes Friday, police alleged.

Spidle allegedly killed an infant and his babysitter, whose names and ages were not released, in the unit next to where he lives at the Ramblewood East condominiums in Coral Springs, Florida.

He then allegedly fled in his car and went on to cause several accidents across north Broward, police said.

The suspect’s vehicle was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run on Wiles Road in Coral Springs at around 1:49 p.m. Friday. Following the incident, an officer tried to approach the suspect’s car, but the person in the vehicle fled and left the Coral Springs jurisdiction, heading eastbound on Sample Road.

Police stopped the pursuit at around 1:51 p.m., in accordance with department policy. “Only crime we had was a hit-and-run. No reason to pursue a hit-and-run, based it was a property,” Coral Springs PIO Chris Swinson stated.

Coral Springs police relayed the suspect’s vehicle information to other agencies.

Minutes later, the suspect’s vehicle caused a four-car collision on West Sample Road and Powerline Road in Pompano Beach.

Police alleged that the suspect shot and killed one victim before stealing their car. Two others were injured in the crash, according to authorities.

Then, fleeing in a stolen truck, the suspect hit a car while making a turn onto 42nd Avenue and injured two more people, police said.

He would not stop and eventually crashed into two parked cars at the Walgreens parking lot on 42nd avenue. The suspect left the car and then robbed another victim, according to police.

The suspect was eventually arrested while naked by Coconut Creek police at the Shell Gas Station off Lyons Road.

During this time, Coral Springs officers were checking the address registered to the suspect's vehicle, which was at Ramblewood East Condominiums.

“Upon trying to make contact with that residence, they ended up seeing one of the adjacent neighbor’s doors were open. When they looked inside, they discovered there was an adult female and one infant,” said Coral Springs Deputy Chief Bradley McKeone.

The babysitter died at the scene. The baby boy was brought to the Broward Health Hospital but later died from his injuries, 7 News Miami reported.

The suspect allegedly had a conflict with the parents of the infant over noise, neighbor Diane Hirschfeld told CBS Miami.

“I feel sorry for him because his life is over, but I feel worse for the parents losing a child,” the neighbor said.
