  • Manchester United has yet to renew Paul Pogba's contract
  • Pogba is being targeted by Paris Saint-Germain, a report said
  • The World Cup winner is leaving the transfer talks to his agent

A big-name club could be plotting a stunning transfer swoop for Manchester United star Paul Pogba.

The future of Pogba remains among the toughest decisions Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has to make this summer. With a contract extension yet to be signed, Pogba is now on the radar of Ligue 1 giant Paris Saint-Germain, reported RMC Sport journalist Mohamed Bouhafsi, who has a reliable track record for soccer transfer news.

According to Bouhafsi, Manchester United is not keen on letting Pogba go, but the World Cup winner is not open to signing a fresh deal with the Red Devils at the moment.

“[Paul] Pogba is being watched by PSG, that's true,” Bouhafsi said (via Foot Radio). “[PSG president] Nasser [ Al-Khelaifi] was in Nice with [Pogba’s agent Mino] Raiola 3 days ago and the two talked about Kean, the departure of Bakker and Pogba. United do not want to part with it, but Pogba does not want to extend. [Manchester] United are asking for 80 million euros ($95 million).”

Addressing the subject, Pogba earlier revealed that Manchester United has not tabled any “concrete offers” yet and he hasn’t discussed anything to anybody about an extension as well.

"I have one year of my contract left, everyone knows that,” Pogba told RMC Sport ahead of France's opening Euro 2020 clash with Germany. “There haven't been any concrete offers yet. We finished the season, as I said there was the Europa League final [which Manchester United lost to Villarreal on penalties], and after that we finished the holidays. We haven't spoken.”

Pogba further pointed out that he trying to “avoid” any transfer talks at the moment as it is his agent’s job to handle such things.

“I am still at Man United, the only thought I have for the future is the [UEFA] Euros,” the Frenchman stressed. “I have a little more experience than before. I really want to focus on the present, and the present is the Euros today.”

"All things about the club, when there are competitions like this, I avoid,” he added. “That's why I have an agent, and he takes care of all that."

Despite not being able to reach his old form in his last two seasons with Manchester United, Pogba is still considered one of the club’s most valuable players.

In fact, apart from Paris Saint-Germain, Pogba’s brother Mathias even wants him to join La Liga side Barcelona – another top European club outside the English Premier League.

"Hopefully he will sign for Barca,” Mathias told El Chiringuito last month.
