The improved chemistry of Manchester United has led to much success with the way their stars have stepped up. With the promise that Manchester United holds, one prospect they’re speculated to be linked to is Thiago Almada.

The 19-year-old Almada is a young developing star that has shown much potential with his current stint at Velez Sarsfield. The attacking midfielder has proven that he can keep up with the best given how well he moves on the field. The glaring speed that he posses coupled with how well he can control the ball makes him a threat on the offensive end.

The promise Almada holds has drawn multiple comparisons to the game’s elite. Some have even seen similarities between his game and Lionel Messi. Provided that both are from Argentina, Almada has big shoes to fill with how people are expecting great things from the teenage standout. In 46 appearances for Atletico Velez, he has already scored nine times and tallied four assists.

Per Red Devil Armada, the tenacity from Almada is something that will fit in well with Manchester United. The club now has entered a revitalized phase with key players such as Paul Pogba stepping up his game. Coupled with Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes, the Red Devils have transformed as one of the more engaging teams to look out for.

To add to these, developing starters such as the duo of Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood has stepped up for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season. Including someone like Almada to the mix can even further accelerate the youngster’s growth as a player. The ceiling is high for Almada if elite players who are maturing under Solskjaer’s system surround him on a daily basis.

While Almada seems like a good fit for Manchester United, other teams are also looking into the rising star as a possible prospect. It has also been reported that Leeds United are scouting several promising players including Almada to suit up for their squad.

It will be interesting to see how Manchester United adjusts its lineup for the coming years and if they’ll be able to sign the teenage sensation Almada moving forward.
