KEY POINTS

  • John Wayne’s grandson is one of the stuntmen in “The Mandalorian"

  • It takes three people to play Din Djarin

  • Multiple characters from “Clone Wars” will join the live-action series

While the fans wait for the release of “The Mandalorian” Season 2, Disney has been airing a documentary series that shows how the TV series was made. Pedro Pascal is the lead actor to play the role of Din Djarin, but the documentary has revealed that he needs the help of two others for some scenes, including a stuntman who is the grandson of John Wayne.

In episode 3 of the documentary series “Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian,” Pascal said that he is one of three guys who gets to put on the helmet of Din Djarin. The gunfighter is always seen with his helmet on, which allows the producers to use different actors for different scenes.

Brendan Wayne and Lateef Crowder are the two other actors who play the role of Din Djarin, IGN reported. Brendan is the grandson of John Wayne and he has made a name for himself by working as a stuntman in TV shows like “Sons of Anarchy” and “Agents of SHIELD.” Crowder knows Capoeira and Jujutsu, which is useful in the action sequences on the show.

There will be more action-packed adventure to look forward to in “The Mandalorian” Season 2. The filming has already wrapped and the show is now in the post-production phase of development. The Hollywood Reporter recently revealed that Timothy Olyphant is one of the actors who has joined the show this year in a role that is being kept under wraps for now.

There will be multiple new characters who will be joining the show this year and many of them are from the “Clone Wars” animation series that recently concluded it’s seventh and last season. According to Screen Rant, some of the characters from the animation series who will be making their live-action debut include the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), the Mandalorian leader Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackoff), and the former Republic clone trooper Rex.

The introduction of these characters suggests that there could be more additions in the future. Hera, Ezra, Sabine, and the villain Grand Admiral Thrawn are some of the characters who could appear in “The Mandalorian” Season 2” or later.
