Three men accused of helping Maurice Clemmons flee after shooting dead four police officers in a Washington State coffee shop on Sunday morning appeared in court Tuesday.

Brothers Eddie Davis and Douglas Davis each pleaded not guilty to rendering criminal assistance to Clemmons, The Seattle Times reported.

According to the report Pierce County Superior Court Judge Bryan Chushcoff set bail at $700,000 for Eddie Davis and $500,000 for Douglas Davis.

A third man, Rickey Hinton, was also held.

Clemmons was killed by a patrol officer investigating a stationed stolen vehicle on the side of the road in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
