A Mega Millions player in Maine won the jackpot of about $1.35 billion on Friday. The potential lump-sum cash payout is $724.6 million.

It was the second-largest Mega Millions jackpot ever after the lottery had gone about three months without a winner. The highest jackpot was in 2018 when a South Carolina player won $1.537 billion.

Friday night's winning numbers were 30, 43, 45, 46, 61 with a Mega Ball of 14.

The Maine Lottery said the ticket was sold at a gas station in the town of Lebanon.

There have been seven jackpots won on Friday the 13th.

While the grand-prize winner took home a highly lucrative prize, there were also 14 tickets who won $1 million prizes.

The jackpot will reset to $20 million with a $10.7 million cash option. The next jackpot drawing will be held on Tuesday.

There is a 1 in 302 million chance to win the Mega Millions jackpot.

Mega Millions can be played in 45 states, as well as the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
