Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green stepped out with their three children in Los Angeles Wednesday to shop at their local mall. Their oldest son, Noah, paid homage to “Frozen” by wearing an ice-blue gown with Snow Queen Elsa of Arendelle on the front.

While some people might scoff at Noah’s choice to wear a dress, Green previously said he doesn’t care what his son wears. “If he wants to wear it, then he wears it. It's dresses or goggles or slippers, whatever. It's his life. They're not my clothes,” the actor star told Hollywood Pipeline last month.

His comments came after Fox posted a picture of Noah wearing the same Queen Elsa dress. Some people weren’t happy about it, but his parents weren’t fazed.

“My son, he’s 4, and I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses,” Green said. “To them I say, ‘I don’t care.’ He’s 4 and if we wants to wear it, then he wears it.”

Green chalked Noah’s style up to being a kid. “I feel like at 4 or 5 that’s a time when he should be having fun,” he said. “He’s not harming anyone wearing a dress. So, if he wants to wear a dress? Awesome. Good on him.”

Fox’s views align with Green’s.

“I grew up in a Pentecostal household, it’s Southern Christian ... the women in the church aren’t allowed to wear pants, you can only wear dresses, you can’t wear make-up or jewelry, so it’s a really sort of oppressive environment to grow up in,” she told Jimmy Kimmel last year. “But I sort of lean left of that now ... Noah wears dresses. So, there are no rules. You can be whatever you want to be in my house!”

While Green and Fox agree on how their son expresses himself through fashion, things haven’t always been easy.

“It's work, I think for anyone,” Green said on a Sept. 20 episode of his podcast. “I think when you get to the point like we have, where you have kids and you’ve been married for a while and we’ve been together for a long time, it's - you just take it day by day...We have three amazing kids. We've had and have a great relationship.”

Noah isn’t the only celebrity child who experiments with clothing. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt famously chooses to wear masculine clothing. Brad Pitt once said Shiloh prefered to be called John and Angelina Jolie said Shiloh likes to dress like a boy.

“Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style,” Jolie told Vanity Fair in 2010. “It’s how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes [regular] suits. So it’s a suit with a tie and a jacket and slacks, or a tracksuit. She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.”

The same is for Pink’s daughter, Willow, who wore a suit to the 2017 MTV VMAs. In her acceptance speech, Pink talked about how she explained beauty standards to her daughter. “Baby girl, we don’t change. We take the gravel in the shell and make a pearl. We help other people to change, so they can see all kinds of beauty,” she said.
