Based on Sarah Morgan’s novel, “St. Piran’s: Prince on the Children’s Ward,” UPtv’s new premiere, “Christmas with a Prince,” is perfect for Meghan Markle fans.

If you’ve been following the real-life royal romance between Markle and Prince Harry — from their courtship to their engagement to their May wedding to their pregnancy announcement — then you’re going to want to check out UPtv’s new Christmas movie on Sunday night.

Starring Kaitlyn Leeb (“Shadowhunters,” “Heartland”) and Nick Hounslow (“The Catch”), “Christmas with a Prince” is all about a commoner falling in love with a royal prince.

“Pediatric specialist Tasha Miller [Leeb] is focused on one thing; keeping the kids in her ward as healthy and happy as possible,” the synopsis begins. “So when her high-school crush, who just happens to be handsome Prince Alexander Cavalieri [Hounslow], breaks his leg on a nearby ski-slope, Tasha is forced to allow him to secretly get well on her floor and she’s furious that a spoiled Royal is interrupting the precious healing time her kids so badly need.”

In the end, though, the synopsis reveals that “Tasha learns that some tough love and a lot of Christmas spirit could turn this royal pain into a knight in shining armor.”

Catch “Christmas with a Prince” on UPtv on Sunday at 7 p.m. EST.
