Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have very different ways of dealing with their 4-month-old son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor.

According to body language expert Judi James, the Duchess of Sussex is gentle and protective of Archie. Prince Harry, on the other hand, always finds ways to make his son laugh.

“Her confident stride as she walked out carrying Archie suggested Meghan has a very positive and optimistic approach to making some of his first introductions to new people, but as they stand outside with their hosts she still employs some gently protective gestures with her son during initial introductions, wrapping both arms around him and cupping his head as she cuddles him to her own torso,” she told Express.

James also said also did the double-arm cradling and cupping bears gesture that she used while she was still pregnant. This gesture suggests that the royal has a natural desire to keep her son close. But even if this is the case, Markle still made sure that Archie would interact with other people.

“By the time they’re inside Archie is sitting happily in Meghan’s lap, clearly enjoying all the noise, laughter and attention around him. Meghan has always been very inclusive and her body language suggests she is keen to encourage Archie to be comfortable around new people too,” she said.

Prince Harry, on the other hand, made careful eye-watching gestures that were solicitous because he was looking for opportunities to make the toddler laugh. And James said that the arrival of Archie definitely made the royal couple closer and happier.

In fact, the body language expert is predicting the possibility of Markle being pregnant with her second child because of how flirty and touchy she was with Prince Harry. The couple is currently in South Africa with their son, and they will be in the continent until Oct. 2.
