In the most recent episode of NBC’s “Superstore,” Meghan Markle’s compared to her father-in-law, Prince Charles.

Season 4, episode 14, titled “Minor Crimes,” of the half-hour comedy was all about a young, inexperienced man getting hired as the new manager of the Cloud 9 store simply because his mom’s in charge of hiring. Meanwhile, one of the store’s longtime employees, Amy (America Ferrera), was having trouble even getting an interview for the job.

Amy’s co-worker, Mateo (Nico Santos), tries to explain why it’s okay if she needs to blackmail the hiring manager in order to get the job over the son, saying, “He was born into power like Prince Charles; At least, you’re working for it like Meghan Markle.”

Prince Charles is Queen Elizabeth II’s oldest child and the heir apparent to the British throne, while former actress Markle became part of the British royal family, and the Duchess of Sussex, after marrying Prince Harry last year.

This isn’t the first show to mention the pregnant royal in a recent episode. In the last few months, Markle and her husband were featured on two episodes of “Jeopardy!” They were also mentioned on “Grown-ish,” “The Masked Singer,” “Lethal Weapon,” “I Feel Bad,” “The Neighborhood” and more.

With the one-year anniversary of their wedding, as well as the birth of their first child, coming up, surely this is only just the beginning of the TV storylines mentioning the royals.
