Prince Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle decided on the outfit she would wear for Pippa Middleton’s wedding only after the bride-to-be’s sister Kate Middleton zeroed in on her dress, E! News reported Friday. Markle is expected to attend the anticipated wedding with her royal boyfriend.

The “Suits” actress did not want her outfit to clash with the Duchess of Cambridge’s, a source told E! News. Markle consulted her stylist friend Jessica Mulroney on the kind of dress to wear on Pippa’s wedding.

"Jessica is a fantastic stylist and is smart enough to know that, as well as making sure Meghan looks her best, they also need to be mindful about what Kate is wearing," the source told the entertainment website. "The last thing anyone would want would be for them to be in a similar color or design. Meghan would never want to attract the wrong kind of attention."

Pippa will be exchanging vows with hedge fund manager James Matthews on May 20 at St. Mark’s Church in Berkshire, England. Following the wedding ceremony, the guests will reportedly gather at the 18-acre Georgian Grade II-listed manor home of the Middletons in Buckleberry.

Previously, there were speculations that Pippa was unlikely to invite Markle to the wedding due to the concerns that the American actress would overshadow her big day. But, Hello! magazine reported last month that the 35-year-old would indeed attend Pippa’s wedding. The actress requested for temporary leave from “Suits” between May 15 and May 22, according to the magazine.

Markle reportedly started preparations for her dress for the wedding and went for two separate fittings in Toronto for her outfit, sparking speculation she would be attending the ceremony and the reception.

On April 17, People magazine reported Markle would attend only the after-party, which is likely to be less formal. Myka Meier, founder and director of Beaumont Etiquette, told the magazine at the time there may be a “no ring, no bring” rule.

“Pending how intimate Pippa wants to keep her wedding, she may very well follow the ‘no ring, no bring’ rule,” Meier told People magazine at the time.

Meanwhile, Harry and Markle will be completing a year since they began dating in a few months and the source told E! News the two "doing so well."

"Obviously things aren't as intense as when the news about their relationship first came out, and that's really made it easier for them to navigate the craziness when it comes to public attention," the source reportedly said.

"On the set, people find it crazy to look at her and think, 'You're pretty much living with Prince Harry,'" the source reportedly added.

Markle and Harry, who stay in two different continents, have been juggling their love and work life.

While Markle visits her boyfriend to London, Harry also takes time out for the actress to be with her.
The royal flew to Toronto on April 12 and was spotted with a duffel bag and wore a baseball cap to celebrate the Easter with Markle. The two reportedly spent that weekend together.
