Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have contacted the LAPD over drone flybys at their estate.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to the U.S. in April after they carried out their final engagement in March. Multiple sources have since indicated that they are staying at Tyler Perry’s property.

However, according to Daily Beast, the royal couple is concerned for their safety due to the multiple incidents of drones flying over their house. The drones have flown as low as 20 feet, and they suspect that they took photos of them and their son, Archie.

Prince Harry and Markle have been coping with “unimaginable” levels of press intrusion at their temporary home. The couple has also informed their friends that when they have their own security team, they will be footing the bill.

“They are not asking for any special treatment, and have not received any,” a source close to the Sussex said.

The Daily Best was informed that the drone-related incidents happened on May 9, 19, 20, 21, and 25. All incidents have been reported to the authorities.

“They see these drones coming in at them, and they guess that they are being operated by photographers, but they can’t just assume that. Meghan received racist death threats at the time of her wedding, so the terror threat is very real for them,” the royal couple’s friend added.

A spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed the incident on May 20 that was reported at 11: 12 a.m.

“Unknown suspects were flying a drone in the area and they were last seen on Coldwater Canyon,” the report read.

Meanwhile a report from the Memorial Day attack said that “a drone was flying over residences” and that it was “an ongoing drone issue.”

In related news, Markle reportedly left the royal family because she was convinced that there was a conspiracy being made against her. In addition, the duchess felt like an “outsider” when she was still in the Firm.

An insider said that Markle is happy to be back in Los Angeles. However, royal commentator and author Tom Quinn said that Prince Harry will have a hard time in the U.S. because he is not as tough as Markle.
