Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a surprise visit to the community kitchen that the Duchess of Sussex helped build.

According to People, Thursday’s visit was the first time that Prince Harry set foot in the community kitchen that was built in support of the families and those left stricken by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Markle previously spent time with the women in the kitchen, and she also helped launch the cookbook “Together: Our Community Cookbook” months ago. During the launch, the Duke of Sussex and Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, were present.

Unfortunately, there was no photo of Markle and Prince Harry during their private visit to the kitchen. However, it was revealed that they posed for a photo with pop star Adele. The singer has also been a well-known supporter of Grenfell, and she visited the kitchen to celebrate Christmas with some of the women there.

Munira Mahmoud posted a photo of herself with Adele on Instagram. In the caption, Mahmoud revealed that she cooked for the pop star two days in a row.

“She’s beautiful, kind, and a very humble lady,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Markle’s cookbook stemmed from the “Suits” alum’s belief that sharing meals can help strengthen relationships and communities. “Together: Our Community Kitchen” proved to be a huge success. Last month, the Royal Foundation announced that the cookbook sold more than 40,000 copies in the United Kingdom alone. The books also raked in $270,000.

The success of the cookbook and the Hubb Community Kitchen led the people behind it to keep the facility open every day instead of just two times a week. The kitchen is currently preparing 200 meals a day, which are delivered to local groups for elderly people’s homes, homeless shelters, and women’s refugees.

Last month, Markle also dropped by the kitchen for Thanksgiving. At that time, kitchen coordinator Zaheera Sufyaan greeted the Duchess of Sussex with a warm embrace. Sufyaan revealed that Markle has also visited the kitchen privately on a handful of other occasions.
