Meghan Markle and Princess Beatrice wore the exact same skirt during their official engagements.

Earlier this week, the 30-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson wore the black pleated dress designed by Misha Nonoo to the Big Change event that was centered on providing support for excluded children.

A photo of Princess Beatrice wearing the black ensemble, which she paired with her brown jacket, was uploaded on Big Change’s Twitter account.

Days later, Markle was also seen in the exact same attire while at the launch of her Grenfell cookbook. But unlike Princess Beatrice, Markle paired her black pleated dress with her blue coat.

The Duchess of Cambridge also wore a cashmere bodysuit from Tuxe at that time. Tamar Daniel, the founder of Tuxe, gushed over Markle’s look at the cookbook launch.

“She looked fantastic – it was so demure and classy. She looked so comfortable and this top, in particular, is a really nice snuggly top so I’m sure she felt good in it. I will definitely be copying this look myself,” she told People.

Markle was joined by Prince Harry and Doria Ragland to the launch of “Together: Out Community Kitchen.” The book was created to show support to the women chefs at Hubb Community Kitchen. The group was set up following the Grenfell Tower fire.

In related news, Princess Beatrice is not the only royal that Markle has channeled during her public engagements. In July, it was reported that she has also been copying Kate Middleton. However, her attempts have made her look dated, according to Anna Mewes, a fashion expert.

“I think it’s understandable that Meghan has played it quite safe since her wedding but I am a bit disappointed that she hasn’t been a little more daring with some of her sartorial choices. She had a lovely edge to her look before becoming a Duchess which I think she could have kept to a certain degree even after getting married.
