Meghan Markle has rarely worn jeans since marrying Prince Harry and becoming a duchess, but she seemed to return to her actress roots recently when she was spotted dressing down.

While she was off-duty from royal engagements, Markle had lunch with Christian Jones, her deputy director of communications, in Notting Hill last week. During the outing, Markle was photographed wearing a chic street-style ensemble.

The Duchess of Sussex rocked a pair of ripped jeans from H&M's maternity line, MAMA, according to meghansmirror.com. She paired this with a chic navy coat, nude heels from Stuart Weitzman, a Mulberry bag and Ray-Ban aviators. Check out rare photos of Duchess Meghan in ripped jeans here.

Meanwhile, this wasn't the first time that Markle had worn a piece from H&M's maternity line over the past several days. Last week, Markle had her first official visit to the animal charity Mayhew, which is one of her newly announced patronages.

For the solo engagement, Markle donned a beige knit maternity dress from H&M's MAMA, that only costs $34.99, according to People. Her coat, however, was the much more expensive cream Emporio Armani cashmere coat. She paired this ensemble with a beige tote bag from Stella McCartney and Signature Midi Knockout Studs by Dean Davidson.

In the coming weeks, Markle is set to visit her last two patronages, the National Theatre and the Association of Commonwealth Universities. Aside from juggling her royal duties, Markle will soon have to add motherhood to her responsibilities as she could give birth around late April.

Markle has apparently enlisted the help of her close friend, stylist Jessica Mulroney, when it comes to assembling her outfits for royal engagements.

“Meghan is conscious of making her work wardrobe become too trend-conscious," a royal insider previously told Elle. "Meghan is still new to this and aware everyone still watching her and wants to be respectful and doesn’t want her style to take away from the very important work she’s doing."
