Meghan Markle has reportedly been sending secret signals about her baby’s gender for the past couple of months.

Royal commentator Camilla Tominey told the “Today” show this week that royal fans may be convinced that Markle and Prince Harry will be having a daughter because of the gender slip that they have been doing.

“I’m as speculative about this as you are because, let’s face it, no one has any idea what the gender of the baby is, the weight it’s going to be, where it’s even going to be born right now. But my money is on a girl,” she said.

Tominey said that there were two incidents that convinced her that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were having a baby girl. Last year, Prince Harry told royal fans that he is also hoping to have a daughter. And during Markle’s lavish baby shower in New York, the entire venue was adorned with pink flowers and pink balloons.

“I don’t know whether that was just because it was a girly affair or whether that was also meant to be giving away some sort of secret signal,” Tominey said.

Meanwhile, bookies Ladbrokes is also convinced that Markle and Prince Harry will have a baby girl. Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati said that punters have been betting on the royal baby’s gender and they are also convinced that her name would be Grace.

Weeks ago, Markle’s good friend, Serena Williams, may have also hinted on Markle’s baby’s gender. During her interview, the tennis pro talked about one of her friends who is pregnant. Even though she did not mention Markle’s name, fans automatically assumed that she was talking about the “Suits” alum.

During the interview, Williams referenced her friend’s baby as a “she.”

Markle is expected to give birth sometime this week or the beginning of May. However, it is also possible that she might have already given birth.
