Serena Williams recently revealed that she and Meghan Markle are in constant communication with each other.

During her interview on “The Program,” the tennis superstar also revealed that she and the Duchess of Sussex rely on each other for everything.

“We were actually just texting each other this morning. We have known each other for a long time, but we really are relying on each other a lot recently,” she said (via People).

Williams did not share any details about her conversations with Markle, but she openly talked about the latter’s wedding to Prince Harry on May 19.

“I felt like we were literally watching history. I feel like in a few years when I look back at that moment, it’s just gonna be so historic. It’s gonna be something people never forget,” she said.

Williams attended the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle with her husband. They were also present at the wedding reception that followed.

“The whole service was really wonderful and most of all, I just wanted to see my friend be happy and I think that’s what happened,” she said.

Williams was not the only A-lister that attended Prince Harry and Markle’s nuptials. George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, and several of the Duchess’ “Suits” co-stars were also present.

Months after her big day, Markle just revealed that her wedding dress made a nod to her and Prince Harry’s first day. In the documentary “Queen of the World,” Markle said that she placed a small piece of blue cloth from the dress she wore to her first meeting with Prince Harry under her bridal gown.

She also gushed over Clair Waight Keller’s creation and said that Prince Harry had no idea she will be incorporating the 53 Commonwealth nations into her wedding veil.

“It was important for me… now being part of the Royal Family, to have all 53 of the Commonwealth countries incorporated. I knew that it would be a fun surprise for as well for my now-husband, who didn’t know, and he was really over the moon to find out…” Markle said.
