Meghan Markle was accused of hogging media attention due to her recent post.

On Monday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex thanked their fans for making donations to the various charities they support instead of giving them gifts for their upcoming child on Instagram. In the same post, they referred to their baby for the first time by mentioning “Baby Sussex.”

One netizen reacted to the said post on Twitter. According to Kins, the media were all over Kate Middleton and Prince William’s kids following their rare fun day out with the Tindalls, so Markle made the said move to steal the spotlight.

“Meghan Markle : immediately proceeds to issue another statement on her IG vaguely referencing about ‘the baby’ to incite media attention. (we want privacy but keep talking about us move),” the user wrote with a laughing emoji.

Another netizen agreed and said that it was a “Hollywood move,” before adding that perhaps their advisor is “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” momager Kris Jenner.

It is believed that Markle is behind the post on Instagram. According to royal expert Roya Nikkhah, Markle is very hands-on when it comes to her official social media account. She wasn’t sure if Markle was writing every single word herself but was convinced that “some of the language is definitely quite Meghan.”

She also recalled how “prolific” the Duchess of Sussex on Instagram and social media was before she shut down her personal accounts. She added that Markle is “thrilled” to have control over her Instagram account.

E! News examined the said post and pointed out some signs that suggest that Markle is indeed running her royal Instagram account. According to the publication, the former “Suits” actress’ American background reflects on the post.

Kensington Palace previously spelled the word “energize” with an “s” as is common in the British style. However, in the recent post, it was spelled “energized.”

However, the Sussex account has used both spellings which raised more eyebrows as to who is really writing the captions. Nevertheless, the followers are very pleased.

As of late, there is still no announcement if Prince Harry and Markle have already welcomed their newborn. There are speculations that the duchess may give birth this week.
