Meghan Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, may not have spent Christmas with her daughter and Prince Harry, but she may reunite with them soon.

On Christmas Day, the mom of one was spotted flipping through her mail in Los Angeles. The yoga instructor was photographed in her white shirt, signature khaki pants, and black cardigan on Christmas morning.

But Connor Boyd, a journalist for Daily Mail, said that it won’t be long until the Duchess of Sussex reunites with her beloved mother. Markle and Prince Harry flew out of Norfolk on Thursday night to spend time with Ragland in the United States before the New Year.

However, royal expert Katie Nicholl said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will only travel to the U.S. after Markle gives birth in the Spring of 2019. The expert also said that the royal couple may head to Canada for a royal tour with their baby next year.

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Nicholl predicted that Markle and Prince Harry will spend Christmas with the royal family in Sandringham, and she was correct. It is possible that her claim that Markle and Prince Harry will be with Ragland next year is also true.

In related news, Queen Elizabeth II reportedly invited Ragland to celebrate Christmas with the royal family, but she declined the gesture. The Queen’s invitation was deemed to be unusual because she doesn’t normally invite non-royals to celebrate Christmas with her family.

However, since Ragland is by herself in Los Angeles, and Markle has no other relative in London, Her Majesty asked her to celebrate the occasion with them.

Ragland was last seen in London a few months ago when Markle launched a cookbook. At that time, Ragland stayed with her daughter and Prince Harry. The yoga instructor, who divorced Markle’s dad when she was still very young, also attended the Duchess of Sussex’s nuptials on May 19.

Markle’s mom was her only relative that attended her wedding to Prince Harry at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., was invited, but he didn’t make it to the royal event.
