Meghan Markle’s Sister Slams Duchess Following NYC Baby Shower For This Reason

Meghan Markle recently flew to New York City for her surprise baby shower with some of her closest friends.

Upon learning that the Duchess of Sussex is in the country, her half-sister slammed the royal for not visiting her dad. While speaking with Daily Mail, Samantha Markle said that she understands how important a baby shower is to pregnant women. She also said that it is understandable why Markle opted to celebrate the occasion with her closest pals.

However, Samantha also hoped that Prince Harry’s wife would touch base with their dad since she’s already in the United States. Unfortunately, it seems that Samantha’s request has once again fallen on deaf ears because it is highly unlikely that Markle will meet with their dad, Thomas Markle Sr.

Earlier this month, Thomas released his daughter’s private letters to him via Daily Mail and said that he didn’t think it was Markle’s real thoughts that were written in the letter. Markle told her dad how disappointed she is with him for lying to the press and for believing everything written about her on the tabloids.

The Duchess of Sussex also told the former lighting director that he broke her heart into a million pieces. Days later, Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., told OK! Magazine that he thinks it is impossible for their family to patch things up anytime soon.

Thomas Jr. also told the publication that he wouldn’t believe anything Samantha would write in her book called “In the Shadow of the Duchess I” and “In the Shadow of the Duchess II.” He also accused Samantha of being jealous of their half-sister.

According to Thomas Jr., their dad has also urged Samantha to stop spreading lies about their family during her interviews with the media. In her letter, the “Suits” alum also told her dad not to believe the rumors being spread by Samantha since she barely knows her. This statement upset Samantha terribly.
