KEY POINTS

  • Melania Trump celebrated her 51st birthday on Monday
  • Twitter users showered the ex-FLOTUS with sweet messages on the micro-blogging site
  • Trump did not post anything for her birthday but did share a message when her son Barron turned 15 last month

Melania Trump received a lot of love from her supporters on social media on her birthday this year.

The former first lady turned 51 years old on Monday. While Trump did not take to her Twitter or Instagram to post anything on her birthday, this did not stop her supporters from tweeting their greetings for the Slovene-American former model and showering her with love on her special day.

"Happy Birthday to former First Lady Melania Trump," Mariah Self tweeted.

"Happy Birthday, Melania! We love you!" another person wrote.

"Happy Birthday Melania Trump. The classiest, caring, smart, fun and beautiful (inside and out) First Lady and dear friend! Jon and I love and celebrate you! May your years be filled with goodness and blessings," another user added.

But while Trump did not tweet anything on her birthday, she made sure to post a birthday message for her teenage son, Barron, when he celebrated his 15th birthday on March 20.

"Happy birthday BWT," Trump tweeted, using her son's initials alongside three heart emojis.

The former first lady also shared an image of two black balloons that made a 15, which some Twitter users thought looked "morbid."

Last year, Trump celebrated her 50th birthday with her family at the White House amid the coronavirus pandemic, according to her then-chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham. It is not clear what the former FLOTUS has planned for her birthday this year, but she has been spending her days in her husband's private club Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, where the couple relocated post-White House.

Trump has maintained a low profile since her family left the White House in January, but she has been photographed with her husband, former President Donald Trump, in the past weeks.

Earlier this month, they were pictured enjoying dinner together at a round table outdoors at one of Mar-a-Lago's restaurants, where Trump stunned in a chic black sleeveless dress. Meanwhile, her husband donned a navy suit, white button-up shirt and striped tie for their dinner date.

While they dined at a public restaurant, they reportedly made sure that no one would disturb them because they had a red velvet security rope separating their table from the rest of the diners.

This dinner came shortly after they attended a fundraising event at the Florida club for Republican National Committee donors. Trump wowed guests when she arrived in a $2,000 white gown by Giambattista Valli. She paired the figure-hugging shimmering dress with white heels.
