The first lady of the United States joined her husband at a signing ceremony at Joint Base Andrews. While there, the POTUS signed into law the 2020 defense spending bill for the country.

Melania introduced President Trump at the event with a speech, and she shared a snippet of it on Twitter.

“During the holiday season, we send our prayers to all members of the military serving overseas. Our nation is with you and thanks to you for all the sacrifices you make to keep us safe,” she captioned the video.

Fans of the FLOTUS immediately flocked her Twitter account with kind words.

“Gracious and lovely first lady. Thank you, Melania Trump,” Twitter user @VickiCONTI1 said.

Meanwhile, the FLOTUS and POTUS were also joined by Ivanka Trump in Maryland. The two women are reportedly not close but are cordial towards each other.

The first daughter also made headlines recently after actor Robert De Niro said that he would disown his children if they act like Ivanka and her siblings.

During his interview on “The View,” De Niro also said that he wouldn’t want to be related to his kids if they would act like the POTUS’s children.
