Michael McKean and his wife, actress Annette O'Toole, celebrated 23 years of marriage with some flashback photos Sunday.

The 69-year-old actress shared a black and white photo from their wedding day on Twitter. In the photo, the couple can be seen kissing. "I’ll say. 23 years ago today," O'Toole captioned the photo.

McKean, 74, on the other hand, shared O'Toole's recent photo and wrote a cute caption. "23 years ago, I married my best friend and it is working out beautifully," McKean wrote. "Thanks for saying yes, @creamofwool."

One of the fans curiously asked if they met on the sets of "Mega," where McKean played Elias Grace and O'Toole played Valerie Grace's character. McKearn replied to the fan, "We met about 20 years before that, but we'd been a couple for just a few years at that point."

"Michael, 42 years ago I did the same thing with the same results. There's nothing better. Happy anniversary to you and Annette!" Television writer Alan Zweibel commented.

Many more fans took to the comments section to wish the couple on their anniversary.

Following the wishes, O'Toole wrote in a separate tweet, "Thank you, everyone, for the lovely anniversary wishes for @MJMcKean and me. We had a great day and you made it even happier."

McKean retweeted the post and wrote, "What she said."

The couple began their friendship in the late 1970s but they started dating in 1998 while filming a movie, "Final Justice."

On the personal front, McKean was previously married to a Set production assistant named Susan Russell from 1970 to 1993. The former couple shares two kids together -- Colin and Fletcher.

O'Toole, on the other hand, was married to actor Bill Geisslinger. The ex-couple also shares two kids -- Anna and Nell.

On the work front, McKean will be next seen in a comedy movie, "Jerry and Marge Go Large," which is under post-production. The actor will also feature in a TV series, "Reboot," which is under pre-production. Whereas, O'Toole is a regular on the TV series, "Virgin River" since 2019.

He was a regular on the TV series, "Better Call Saul" from 2015 to 2018. The actor worked in various projects including "Veep," "Grace and Frankie," "At Home with Amy Sedaris" and "Billions."
