Recent reports stated that Microsoft’s Lumia 650 will be launched on Feb. 1. Even though the launch news holds good even now, a new report points to the release date, color and price of the handset.

The Lumia 650 with Windows 10 on board will apparently be released shortly after the launch on Feb. 1. This device will debut in Europe, followed by other regions.

Winfuture said the upcoming Lumia device will hit the store shelves of Germany in early February timeframe. Germany’s major mobile carrier O2 will apparently sell the device. This handset will be offered in the combination of "Black and Dark Silver" or "White and Light Silver."

Speaking of price, the Lumia 650 will set the buyers back by 219 euros without any contract, which roughly translates to $237 at today’s exchange rate. So far, the U.S. specific price has not been revealed. However, this price ambit gives an idea of what to expect.

Rumor has it that this entry-level business-centric handset will be offered by AT&T’s Cricket Wireless starting April 2016. Phone Arena, on the other hand, reminds that this handset has already got the U.S. FCC approval.

Moving on to Lumia 650 specifications, this wallet-friendly device will reportedly feature a 5.0-inch display and 720 x 1,280 pixels resolution. Design-wise, it is expected to carry a metallic frame running through the sides of the phone.

Under the hood, a quad-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 210) processor will power the handset and will be backed by 1 GB of RAM. However, readers should note that past rumors have pointed to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 200 and 212 as well.

As far as the memory configuration goes, the Lumia 650 will apparently come equipped with 8 GB of built-in storage space and microSD card slot to facilitate expansion. This device is believed to house a modest 2,000 mAh battery cell to keep the lights on. An 8-megapixel rear-facing camera unit with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies have also been tipped.

As always, readers should note that Microsoft has not confirmed the Lumia 650-related details thus far.
