Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande's Closeness Reportedly Made Kaitlynn Carter Jealous

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth shocked their fans with a divorce announcement, after less than a year of marriage, earlier this month. Things got more complicated after photos of the Disney alum making out with Kaitlynn Carter surfaced online on the same day the split was confirmed. Rumors are rife that the stunning snaps motivated “The Hunger Games” star to break up with his then-wife.

While the Cyrus and Hemsworth have yet to finalize their divorce, reports about the “Party In The USA” singer dating Carter continue to spread like wildfire. Cyrus and Carter never confirmed their relationship. However, more recent reports are saying that they have called it quits and Ariana Grande, allegedly, has something to do with it.

OK! Magazine claimed that Miley Cyrus’ recent collaboration with Grande and Lana Del Rey on the new track called “Don’t Call Me Angel” made Carter jealous. While Cyrus and Grande are known to have a very close relationship as friends, their “flirtatious” scenes on the music video, reportedly, did not sit well with Carter.

“Miley’s hinted that she finds Ari attractive and that she’d totally go there, so it’s troubling for Kaitlynn,” an unnamed source, reportedly, told the publication. “Kaitlynn’s worried she won’t be able to hold on to someone as fiery as Miley,” the tipster went on.

However, Gossip Cop was quick to debunk the claims saying that Ariana Grande caused Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter’s break up. The fact-checking publication made it clear that Cyrus and Grande are not an item and the tabloid’s report is not true in all levels.

Meanwhile, an E! News source claimed that Cyrus is, currently, aiming for a fresh start after all the things she has had in the past few weeks. Another insider claimed that the “Butterfly Fly Away” hitmaker did not want to rush things between her and Carter. Though their friendship has clearly turned into romance, the ex-wife of Liam Hemsworth is, reportedly, not ready for another relationship.

Miley Cyrus has yet to comment on these claims. However, based on her most recent Instagram posts, it seems like the “Hannah Montana” star is shaking everything off by enjoying her life as a single woman.
