An MMA fighter who calls himself "Unvaccinated Assassin" has ended up behind bars for allegedly stabbing a doctor to death after the two got into an argument over COVID-19 vaccination.

Akmal Khozhiev, who hails from the Tamuning village in the U.S. Pacific territory of Guam, has been accused of fatally stabbing Dr. Miran Ribati, a radiologist, with an animal bone from the meal they just had, reported Pacific Daily News.

Guam Police Department officers were called to an apartment in Tamuning Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival, they found Khozhiev covered in blood. He reportedly told officers, "I killed him," referring to Ribati who was lying face down in a pool of blood at that time. The radiologist was declared dead at the scene.

A woman who witnessed the altercation said Ribati and Khozhiev knew each other from a local gym called Steel Athletics. On the day of the incident, they had just returned home from the beach for dinner. However, the two men started arguing about vaccination after their meal.

Khozhiev, who is known within MMA circles as AK, allegedly told Ribati, "I don't trust you anymore."

The dispute turned physical afterward. The MMA fighter allegedly wrapped both arms around Ribati's neck and began choking him. According to documents, the two fell to the floor when a witness saw Khozhiev use his legs to restrain Ribati's arms while he continued to choke him from behind.

Khozhiev let go of Ribati after the witness stepped in to help the radiologist. But the MMA fighter returned with an animal bone that was leftover from dinner. He used the bone to stab Ribati in the neck multiple times, The Guam Daily Post said in a report.

Khozhiev worked as a trainer at Steel Athletics until its owner, JJ Ambrose, sacked him three months ago.

Ambrose told KUAM News the two had a strong bond from their shared joy of training. However, Khozhiev was fired from his job due to his erratic behavior.

"The last thing that happened was kind of the last straw, he attacked a member," Ambrose explained as per the outlet.

"He was such a great person up until he wasn't," he added. "We did everything we possibly could to warn people that AK wasn't AK anymore."

In a clip shared with the KUAM News, the MMA fighter could be seen aggressively pushing a person to the ground, violently kicking him twice before trying to throw a punch.
