Sony is reportedly holding another event next month to reveal the PS5 gaming console finally. Over the past months, the Japanese gaming giant has trickled details about its next generation gaming console. But, it looks like there are still a lot of things that the industry is yet to find out about the PS5 if the recent statement of the former Sony engineer is to be believed.

Matt Hargett, a former principal software engineer who has been a part of the development of the Sony PS5, recently tweeted exciting details about the company’s next generation gaming console. According to him, Sony still has lots of secrets about the PS5 hidden under its sleeves, and there are many more details about the console that were not yet revealed in leaks.

While the industry has an idea that PS5 is capable of rapid game loading because of its Solid State Drive (SSD), Sony Interactive Entertainment has not yet revealed how it will work. Fans also know that the PS5 would feature ray tracing and would integrate 3D audio into games, but it has not yet revealed the process involved. And while the Japanese gaming giant is taking too much time revealing all the major details of the PS5, Microsoft is very aggressive in revealing features and even unveiling the Xbox Series X.

Microsoft debuted the Xbox Series X at The Game Awards last year while Sony is still rumored to fully reveal the PS5 next month. So far, Sony has not yet mentioned anything related to the full unveiling of the PS5. Will fans finally see the much-awaited next generation gaming console from Sony Interactive Entertainment a few days from now?

Meanwhile, a recent report claims that Microsoft is preparing to unveil another gaming console sometime next month. The rumored more affordable model releasing alongside the Xbox Series X this year is reportedly called Lockheart. It might launch under the official name Xbox Series S, say reports.

The upcoming gaming console, according to reports, is not as powerful as the Xbox Series X, but it might be able to cater to gamers who prefer a low cost gaming console. Whatever it is that Sony Interactive Entertainment has in store for gamers, PS5 fans are hoping that it is going to be another interesting feature.
