The “Nashville” Season 3 premiere is less than a month away, and fans are anxious to know what’s going to happen to their favorite characters in the country-music drama. ABC released the first Season 3 poster to TVLine, but it didn’t give many hints as to what to expect. Luckily, there are plenty of other spoilers detailing expected Season 3 drama.

Derek Hough And Juliette

The “Dancing with the Stars” pro will be playing an actor called Noah West who is involved in a biopic of country music superstar Patsy Cline, TV Line reported. Somehow, Hayden Panettiere’s character Juliette becomes involved in the film, and she might just become his love interest, E Online said. Actor Ed Amatrudo, who plays Juliette’s manager Glenn, posted a clip on Vine that confirmed Juliette’s involvement with Noah in the Patsy Cline movie. Watch below:

The romance might not last long, though. Hough’s commitments to “Dancing with the Stars” likely will not allow him to be on the show all the time, and Noah probably won’t take the news of Juliette’s pregnancy very well (she won’t be able to hide that baby bump forever).

Tandy Is Leaving Music City

Connie Britton hinted on Instagram that her character Rayna’s sister Tandy would be departing “Nashville” in Season 3. Tandy will leave for San Francisco early in the season, TV Guide reported.

The older sister wants to do something on her own instead of working for her family. When she gets an offer to work with a West Coast nonprofit organization, it will be too good to refuse. Granted, Tandy isn’t a huge loss for the show, but who will watch Maddie and Daphne when Rayna is busy with all her love interests? Maybe she’ll have time to watch her kids now that she is engaged to Luke Wheeler.

Behind-The-Scenes Photos

As previously reported, Laura Benanti will join “Nashville” in Season 3 as Sadie Stone. The new musician will befriend Rayna, but nobody is sure if she is an ally or more of a frenemy. From the behind-the-scenes shots posted on social media, it looks like Rayna and Sadie might be actual friends (or at least Connie Britton and Laura Benanti are). Rayna will definitely need a friend after her sister leaves town.

The “Nashville” writers also revealed the title for Season 3 Episode 5 on Twitter. The episode is called “Road Happy,” so it looks like someone is going on tour:

“Nashville” Season 3 premieres on ABC Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. EDT. How do you feel about Tandy leaving? Do you think it will affect future storylines? Sound off in the comments section below!
