National Brother's Day is marked annually on May 24 to show love toward all the brothers around the world and to honor their efforts, responsibilities, sacrifice and affection.

The unofficial holiday is not only celebrated in the U.S. but also in Russia, Australia, France and Germany among many others. The day was first marked in 2005 and was organized by Alabama-based C. Daniel Rhodes, according to National Today.
