Break out the maple syrup, National Pancake Day arrives Saturday. There are plenty of ways breakfast lovers can celebrate, whether it's by attending a breakfast establishment that's doling out free flapjacks or by whipping up a batch at home.

Many local restaurants across the nation will likely be offering special promotional deals for National Pancake Day. At F&B Atlanta in Atlanta, diners will receive a complimentary crepe with the purchase of a dinner entrée. The crepe will be drizzled with caramelized sugar, citrus juice, orange liqueur and topped with powdered sugar. Peach & The Porkchop, also in Atlanta, will offer, half price, the restaurant's stack house of three pancakes topped with maple syrup. Hudson's Restaurant in Hudson, Ohio, will be offering $3 off all orders of pancakes, which include buttermilk, blueberry, chocolate chip and banana crunch. Saturday's National Pancake Day should not be confused with IHOP's National Pancake Day, which occurs in the spring.
