It still needs to be seen if another LaVar Ball prophecy is about to happen.

The outspoken father of the Ball brothers is back on live TV and though he was not around that much as he was busy working on the relaunch of their family brand, he made sure that there is something that needs to be looked for.

On his recent appearance in Skip and Shannon’s Undisputed, the flamboyant LaVar said that LiAngelo Ball will be the NBA’s leading scorer one day – within his first three years in the big league. Gelo is his second-born between the New Orleans Pelicans guard Lonzo Ball and NBA top prospect LaMelo Ball.

He made the declaration while in the middle of a discussion where the current number one draft choice Zion Williamson is leading the Pelicans in scoring. Asked if the highflying forward teammate of his oldest son will become the league’s best scorer on a regular basis.

"Zion could lead this league in scoring regularly until my other son get there," he said. "When Gelo get here, you can forget it. It's over." Since his delayed debut due to a surgery done on his knee, the former Duke star is averaging 24.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists this season. He recently was named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for February, dethroning Memphis’ Ja Morant who had the distinction since the start of the season.

“Gelo has always been the best scorer everywhere he go,” explained the Big Baller Brand CEO. "When he get in the NBA, within three years, I guarantee he's the scoring champ, guaranteed!”

Gelo had his moments on the court where he scored 72 points twice – one during a high school basketball game and another during his stint in Lithuania with Melo as also mentioned in TMZ Sports. He, however, went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft and was saddled by an ankle injury but is already working with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League.

"Call me on it, baby. I'll be back up here when he does," LaVar answering the challenge by Skip Bayless to get back at him when the time comes.
