The Golden State Warriors are determined to develop their lineup after a disappointing season. Despite all their struggles this year, the franchise is still in a position to recover. There are a lot of possible talents that the squad can benefit from including Toronto Raptors forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson.

Despite the stellar play of Pascal Siakam for the Raptors, Hollis-Jefferson has been maximizing his time on the floor for the defending champions. The versatile forward has been a steady contributor for the Raptors this season with the energy he brings off the bench. Throughout the season, Hollis-Jefferson is averaging 7.2 points per game to go along with 4.9 rebounds and 47.1% shooting from the field.

With all of the resources that the Warriors have, they can further deepen their roster by including someone like Hollis-Jefferson from the free agency market. Per Blue Man Hoop, the Warriors are looking to spend their mid-level exception on a defensive wing. This fits in well for Hollis-Jefferson would likely be available on a minimum contract.

It has been a struggle for Golden State given the number of injuries and roster adjustments the team went through. The current season features a different look for the Warriors with how their veteran stars were replaced with rookies and younger players. Adding a player like Hollis-Jefferson who knows how to make big plays and assist the team’s star players is certainly a boost for Golden State.

The six-foot-eight forward is a strong fit for the team as he can step up as a reliable frontcourt presence for the fast pace of the Warriors. The hustle he brings for the team can complement players such as Draymond Green in terms of the squad’s defensive intensity.

While plans are not final yet for the Bay Area team, it would be interesting to see how Golden State will strategize for the upcoming seasons. It will be important to have dependable players that could support the team while the organization rebuilds its way back to success.
