NeNe Leakes is "broken" amid her husband Gregg Leakes' cancer battle.

The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, 53, took to Instagram Sunday to share an image that read "Broken" with a broken heart emoji and prayer hands emoji.

There was no caption or information included in the post, but it appeared to address the update she recently shared on the condition of her 67-year-old husband, whose cancer returned just months ago. Gregg was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2018 but had been in remission for two years.

In an impromptu speech recorded and shared on Twitter, the "Glee" veteran told the guests at her Linnethia Lounge in Duluth, Georgia, Saturday that Gregg was "transitioning to the other side."

NeNe received tons of messages of support on Instagram from celebrities, pals and fans, who sent their prayers and love.

"Praying heavy for you and your family," Katrina wrote. "We praying for you Nene!!!!!" Sabrina Parr wrote.

"Praying for you beautiful," singer Lyrica Anderson commented. "Praying for you beautiful," Stormy Wellington added.

Rapper Jessica Dime and Miracle Watts also said they were keeping NeNe and her family in their prayers. Meanwhile, Alonzo Arnold, J. Bolin, Sheika Daley, Marlo Hampton and Brandy were among those who commented on her post with folding hands and red heart emojis.

There was an outpouring of supportive messages for NeNe and her family on Twitter as well. "Sending love and hugs to the Leakes family and especially @NeNeLeakes," one fan tweeted.

"PRAY for @NeNeLeakes & her family! She's revealed her husband, Gregg Leakes is making his transition," comedian Sherri Shepherd tweeted. "I got to know Gregg while on our comedy tour with NeNe called 'Ladies Night Out.' He is a kind man, so caring & often texted me about my son Jeffrey."

NeNe gave the update on her husband's cancer battle after a customer approached her and requested that she get on the microphone to wish them a happy birthday Saturday. However, the fan allegedly told her she was rude for not being more cheerful. The Broadway star eventually took the mic at the venue and wished the fan a happy birthday before explaining her mood.

"You don't know what we’re dealing with right now. We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business," she told the crowd.

She continued, "So, when people approach and say, 'You're rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday,' my husband is at home dying. I don’t want to say, 'Happy birthday.'"

Her husband had been in remission until NeNe revealed in June that Gregg was undergoing surgery to deal with the cancer's return. He stayed in the hospital for six weeks.

NeNe and Gregg have been together for more than 20 years. After initially tying the knot in 1997, they divorced in 2011, but they wed for the second time in June 2013.
