The song, which features singer Skylar Grey on the hook, is the first we've heard from Em in a while, and it's sure to whet listeners' appetites for Marshall Mathers' raps as they continue to anticipate the release of his upcoming eighth studio album, which remains untitled.

"Survival" features the unmistakeable Eminem flow declaring it to be "another anthem" and features a guitar-driven beat and a chorus that repeats "this is survival of the fittest."

The song fits squarely in the classic Eminem mold of personal lyrics with a touch of social consciousness, and it lands at the more aggressive end of his output spectrum, with Em barking the lyrics in a way that can best be described as gravelly and angry.

Here's a taste of what the Detroit rapper has to say this time around:

"Wasn't ready to be a millionaire / I was ill-prepared / I was prepared to be ill, though / the skill was there. / In the beginning it wasn't bout the N's / It was about busting raps and standing for something."

The song is only part of the entertainment of "Survival," as the song accompanies a slick new video revealing some of the highlights of "Call of Duty: Ghosts," a multiplayer, first-person shooter and the latest installment in the ultra-popular "CoD" series.

The debut trailer shows off gameplay modes like Search & Rescue and Cranked, according to XXL. The graphics are stunningly realistic and will likely leave fans wanting more.
