PS5 Official Reveal Details

Sony Interactive Entertainment recently announced that more technical details about the PS5 would be revealed on Mar. 18, 2020, starting at 12 PM ET. Sony’s Lead System Architect Mark Cerny will lead the ‘deep dive’ into the technical specifications and system architecture of the PS5. The industry can expect that Sony would reveal more about the faster storage technology of the PS5, its latest processors, and its graphics units at the upcoming event.

In 2018, Sony shared some crucial elements of the PS5. Mark Cerny earlier revealed details of the Solid State Drive and its new AMD processor. Some key specs of the next generation gaming console were confirmed by game developers. Sony Interactive Entertainment President Jim Ryan previously confirmed that the features that were revealed to the industry are the basic specs where the future technology of the PS5 is founded.

He added that the Japanese gaming console giant has not yet announced the major features of the PS5. It is possible that the event tomorrow might reveal these major PS5 details. Sony does not say anything about the upcoming event, aside from the date and time. At this point, anything could happen, but nonetheless, fans are already excited.

Microsoft already announced and revealed the Xbox Series X last year at The Game Awards. Sony has only announced the official release window of the PS5 and some of its features. Microsoft has been very aggressive in marketing and advertising its next-generation gaming console.
