Every married couple has a special story about when he (or sometimes she) popped the question. They can range from mundane, to zany, ridiculously romantic but New York Giants special teamer and backup linebacker Greg Jones and his fiancée Mandy Piechowski can top them all.

Jones proposed to his future bride on the field during the post-game celebration.

She was bawling, Jones said to NJ.com. I was like, 'I don't know how long she's going to keep crying.'

According to Jones, Christian Hopkins a practice squad player held the ring for him during the game then handed it over just after the final pass fell through Rob Gronkowski's outstretched hands.

The couple met at Michigan State where Jones starred for the football team and Amanda was a member of the women's basketball team.

Though Jones probably wasn't thinking about it at the time, he definitely topped Boise State running back Ian Johnson who proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend after the Broncos won the 2007 Fiesta Bowl.
