A Brazilian prospect dubbed as the “next Neymar” reportedly rejected offers from two foreign clubs.

As the Paris Saint-Germaine star faces a series of controversies regarding his ties with Barcelona and some transfer talks, a Brazilian teenager named Talles Magno emerged as a prospect who resembles his game.

Currently playing in his Brazil, Magno has generated quite a buzz in Europe as Liverpool has recently been linked with a move for talented youngster. According to The Mirror, the Reds have been keeping an eye on the Vasco da Gama striker. Magno, who has been likened to PSG superstar Neymar, is also considered one of Brazil’s best young players.

The Boot Room reported that the Brazilian side where Magno is currently playing is said to be struggling financially. The situation is believed to be monitored by Liverpool. Sources claimed that Jurgen Klopp’s side is ready to explore possible options for Magno and eventually make a shove move for the wonderkid.

However, the report further stated that the 17-year-old doesn’t come with a cheap price tag. Recent reports have claimed Magno and his side have already rejected two bids – one from French club Lille and the other from Russia’s Krasnodar.

Gazeta Esportiva reported French side Lille made quite an offer of €10 million ($11.2 million) but was apparently rejected. Russian side Krasnodar also tried to lure Magno with an undisclosed offer but was also reportedly snubbed by the Brazilian club.

Given Magno’s current situation, Liverpool would have to go beyond the budget should they decide to really pursue the youngster this summer. A recent report from Metropoles hinted that the Reds would have to prepare an offer which should not go lower than £28 million ($34.8 million) to land the Neymar-like player. The report claimed that Magno has already entered a new contract with his current club in November which contains a release clause amounting to the amount mentioned.

Meanwhile, another Brazilian youngster has recently earned comparisons to Neymar. Gustavo Maia, 19, has captured the attention of the biggest clubs across Europe’s top five leagues with his impressive goal scoring abilities.

The pacy winger has entered a tentative deal with Barcelona which states that the Catalans have an option to buy Maia from Sao Paolo football club before anyone else until June 30.

While the deal is still hanging in the air, Maia’s agent Danilo Silva is confident that his client will definitely go to Barcelona.
