There are only a handful of very big favorites in Week 9 of the 2019 NFL season. Just three contests feature a betting line of a touchdown or more. More than half the games have a point spread of fewer than four points.

The Washington Redskins are the only Week 9 double-digit underdogs. With just one victory this season, they are getting 10 points in their visit to Buffalo.

Two road teams are heavy favorites in primetime. The San Francisco 49ers laying 9.5 points against the Arizona Cardinals in a matchup of NFC West teams Thursday night. The New York Giants are getting a touchdown at home against the Dallas Cowboys Monday night in their last chance to stay alive in the NFC East race.

“Sunday Night Football” is probably the week’s most highly anticipated game. The New England Patriots are 3.5-point favorites on the road against the Baltimore Ravens in potential AFC Championship Game preview.

A healthy Patrick Mahomes could lead the Kansas City Chiefs back to the conference title game, but it’s uncertain if he’ll play in Week 9. Kansas City is a 2.5-point home underdog against the Minnesota Vikings at the few sportsbooks that have the game on the board.

With Joe Flacco out, the Denver Broncos are home underdogs against the Cleveland Browns.

For just the third time this season, the Miami Dolphins aren’t getting at least two touchdowns. They’ve got one of their best chances to finally pick up a victory when they host the one-win New York Jets.

The contest between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks has the week’s highest total. The over/under for the Detroit Lions’ visit to Oakland is also north of 50.
