The NFL preseason is over and Week 1 of the 2021 regular season is just around the corner. Betting odds are available for all 16 games, and some of the very early point spreads have changed significantly in light of injuries and exhibition games.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and San Francisco 49ers are the biggest favorites on the schedule, laying 7.5 points in their respective Week 1 matchups. The Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Charges are the only Week 1 favorites that are giving less than two points.

Tampa Bay hosts the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL Kickoff Game. The point spread was less than a touchdown when the matchup was first announced, but questions about Dak Prescott’s shoulder injury and the Cowboys' 0-4 preseason record raised concerns about how they will fare against the defending Super Bowl champions, pushing the line to 7.5.

The Seattle Seahawks were initially pegged as underdogs for their Week 1 opener against the Indianapolis Colts. Seattle has become one of the schedule’s eight road favorites. The status of quarterback Carson Wentz and guard Quenton Nelson remains uncertain after both players underwent foot surgery.

The Green Bay Packers are 3-point road favorites despite their winless preseason. Aaron Rodgers didn’t take a preseason snap, but he is ready to start for the team after his offseason request to no longer play for the Packers wasn't granted. The New Orleans Saints were named Week 1 favorites over Green Bay when Rodgers was at the center of trade rumors.

The Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos and Minnesota Vikings are also among the Week 1 favorites. The Kansas City Chiefs are favored over the Cleveland Browns in a game that inclues the week’s highest betting total.
